I had such a great experience participating in the race for the cure. This was my second annual race and I was proud of myself for beating last years time by a whopping 5 minutes, but that was not hard to do. My time is still way slow, but we ran with out stopping and that was progress for me. This years fund raising for me was way down, I was not even able to meet my goal amount and last year I exceeded so bummer, but a huge thank you to everyone who did donate and supported me!!!
I also had the opportunity to talk to the local newspaper and part of my story was published in the paper so that was kinda fun. My friend Emily and I really had an awesome experience!! Thanks Emily for sharing this experience with me!
